QB Tim Tebow
Florida (2006-09)
CFF Poll Results: 65%
Total Points: 22
For the eleventh spot in the inaugural class of the College Fantasy Football Hall of Fame, CFF fans selected dual-threat quarterback Tim Tebow. When the Hall of Fame panelists submitted ballots, Tebow finished fourth among signal callers. In the online poll, the 2007 Heisman winner garnered 65% of the votes to capture the final nomination for the CFF Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Even among gridiron greats, there is no question that Tebow’s college resume shines. Yet, college fantasy football is a competition to score the most fantasy points, and the former Gator’s remarkable season and career falls a little short statistically of the other quarterbacks in the first CFF Hall of Fame Class.
During his Heisman season, Tebow passed for 3,286 yards, rushed for 895 and logged 55 total touchdowns: 32 passing and 23 rushing. He was the first sophomore to capture the Heisman, Sullivan, Davey O’Brien and Maxwell Awards—five sophomores (Lamar Jackson, Sam Bradford, Mark Ingram, Bryce Young and Caleb Williams) have won the Heisman since. In college football history, he became the first player to rush and pass for at least 20 touchdowns in a season.
When his four-year tenure ended, Tebow established five FBS, 14 SEC and 28 Florida records. He threw for 9,285 yards and 88 touchdowns while scrambling for 2,947 yards and 57 scores. As the leader of the Gators, he helped steer the program to three 13-win seasons, a 48-7 record and two National Championships (2006 and 2009). He also propelled many CFF managers to championships during his three-year run of dominance.

"Tim Tebow is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. His work ethic is maybe the best I've ever been around. His intelligence is the best I've ever been around,” former Florida coach Urban Meyer asserted in 2009. (floridagators.com)
