Total Points: 24
During Chase Coffman’s college career, the Tigers recorded a 37-16 record and earned four bowl invites under coach Gary Pinkel. In 2007 and 2008, Missouri posted a 22-6 mark and won the 2008 Cotton Bowl while winning 12 games. Since the turn of the twenty-first century, Pinkel’s offense produced one of the underrated CFF triplets with QB Chase Daniels, WR Jeremy Maclin and TE Coffman. College fantasy footballers will never forget the explosive Missouri passing game commanded by the Tigers’ trio.
As a senior in 2008, Coffman collected First Team All-American honors and captured the John Mackey Award after catching 90 passes for 987 yards and 10 touchdowns despite missing two games. As a collegian, he was named Freshman All-American (2005) and First Team All-Big 12 twice (2006 and 2008).
Coffman accumulated over 500 receiving yards each season on campus and logged more than 50 catches in three consecutive crusades. The 6-6 and 250-pounder still stands atop the all-time pass catchers at Missouri with 247 receptions and 30 touchdowns. He is also third in program history with 2,659 receiving yards. The former All-American garnered the most votes among the tight ends by the CFF Hall of Fame panel. Coffman’s spot is forever etched into the history of our hobby.

After Chase Coffman set the career record for receptions by a tight end (FBS), teammate Jeremy Maclin (WR) stated "He's the best tight end in the nation. He does amazing stuff with the ball, catching the ball, jumping over people. For a guy to be that size and to be as athletic as he is, it's a once-in-a-lifetime type of thing." (columbiamissorian.com)
